Most geography games test recall: name the capital, name the flag, name the country. That only works if you already knew it. Mapcade asks you to estimate things nobody has memorised, so you are never flatly wrong, only close or far. The reveal is usually the surprising part.
Drag one straight line across a country so that half the population falls on each side. A line that looks like it cuts the country down the middle can leave almost everyone on one side of it.
Guess how many of one country fit inside another. Pick the one level with it. Work out where the sun comes up first. Pin a capital. Name a country before the map zooms out. Turn one the right way up. Draw a border from memory.
Create a room, show the QR code, and everyone plays the same rounds on their own phone at the same time. Everybody reveals together and the scores climb side by side. No accounts and no sign-up: pick a name, take a monster, play.
